“Thank you for the fruit baskets. They were a big hit at our corporate outing. I appreciate the discount you gave us do to the large quantity we ordered. Thank you for getting them done in such a short notice. We will be using your services in the future. I have referred you to some of the other businesses we work with. - Thomas Coccia.”

Off-Season 2012

After the 2011 season comes to a close, we would like to thank all our patrons for making it such a success! Without the support of our wonderful customers, we would not be able to continue our proud family tradition. The long hours and sometimes strenuous work would be for nothing if we did not have those who appreciate it so faithfully. For this we are extremely grateful...so THANK YOU!!

Although our farmstand and bakery is currently closed and will not re-open until after Mother's Day in May, we will be offering Easter pies in April. We have a wide selection to choose from, although not all varieties will be available. All orders must be placed by phone (401)231-9043. Please feel free to leave the information on our answering machine including name, phone number and what you would like to order and we will get back to you with confirmation information. If you wish to e-mail us, please leave the above mentioned information and we will get back to you by phone. All orders must be placed by April 4th.

As the 2012 season quickly approaches, we have so much to do to prepare!! Although our farmstand and bakery are closed, there is still much to be done. All of our inside maintenance and cleaning will be done over the next three months. All of our equipment will be broken down and properly attended to. The exception is our apple cider operation as we are still manufacturing at least once per week. Our apple cider is available year round at many of our favorite local markets – like Belmont Fruit in Wakefield; Eastside Marketplace in Providence; Wholefoods in Garden City Carnston and at various Dave’s Marketplaces throughout the state.

In addition to the inside maintenance, there is much to be done outside. All of our perennial crops will need to be tended to. Each of our apple trees, raspberry bushes and blueberry bushes will be trimmed by hand. This will allow for new growth when the spring arrives. The trimming must be done while the objects are dormant so as not to cause additional damage. All of our strawberry plants have been covered with fresh straw to protect them during the colder winter months and will provide weed prevention in the spring. We are also ordering new plants and seeds to provide us with an abundance of produce for the upcoming season. All will be planted by the end of May to ensure proper picking time and we look forward to a hearty season!

Just a reminder, our bakery will be taking orders for Easter pies. All orders must be placed by Wednesday, April 4, 2012. All pies can picked up on Saturday, April 7, 2012 from 9am – 4pm. We will only open for the day and for order pick-ups only, so please place your orders early. We are planning to open for the season sometime in mid to late May. We look forward to seeing you in 2012. Until then, we wish you a happy and healthy winter!
